It is a sad fact of life that after we’ve studied a subject we usually have to take some sort of test to prove we understood it all. If you’re at college or university you can be facing a huge run of exams, one after the other. A bit of pressure to make you work at your best is a good thing; crippling exam stress resulting in poor sleep patterns and mind blanking when it matters can lead to failure if it’s not handled properly.
If you’re stressing out about your exams and are afraid you’ll fail even though you’ve worked hard and can talk fluently about the subject when you’re not in an exam room, or you’re revising every night but nothings ‘going in’ then it’s time to give me a call. If you SUSPECT that’s what’s going to happen then definitely give me a call because the earlier we catch it the easier it is to fix. Don’t put yourself through hell. There are a wealth of tried and tested methods to ensure you perform at your best when it matters, all you have to do is decide which one suits your style. As a university lecturer, moral tutor (University of Durham), and ex-student I’ve seen this from both sides. Don’t wait until the last minute. Get organised, calm your mind and get in control today.
